The Human Resources’ Department Risk Management Division, in partnership with Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool, provided “Response to Resistance” training to 28 of our police officers on June 25, 2015 at the Laredo Police Department. This training allowed Laredo Police Officers to engage in classroom instruction along with hands-on simulator activity and were TCLEOSE certified hours. The goal and objective was to enhance officer’s communication and decision making abilities.
