The Risk Management Division will be conducting at City-Wide TML training on the topic of: Basics, Attitude, Training, and Supervision (BATS)
The training addresses the basic roles and responsibilities that supervisors have for the health and safety of employees as well as the importance of supervisors taking an active role in reducing accidents, injuries and liability exposures.
Basics, Attitude, Training and Supervision (BATS) are key components in managing risk, this strategy will be discussed as a tool to supervisors, as stated by Frank Talley – TML Instructor.
Participants will be able to:

Know the basics of supervisory risk management

Understand how the BATS theory contribute to success as a supervisor

Apply supervisory techniques to prevent accidents and injuries

Know how to conduct inspections and implement corrective actions
