Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) Training is built on the three principles of avoid, deny, defend. The training includes history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options, medical issues, considerations for conducting drills, learning how to control the body's physiological response to stressful situations, and demonstrates examples of things to do in case of an active shooter event.
